Affordability

As your councilwoman, I want to ensure we continue to provide tax stability for our Township. This helps ensure that residents who grew up here can afford to grow old here. Through fiscally responsible decisions we can look to expand services without suffocating working families.

Additionally, I am committed to supporting affordable housing options. Affordable housing empowers individuals and families to be able to choose where they want to live. As a council member, I will work to ensure there are a variety of housing choices available for people who want to live in Teaneck at every stage of their life.

By prioritizing smart housing investments that include affordable housing options, we can revitalize neighborhoods, attract new businesses, and strengthen the diversity of Teaneck. 

Accessibility

Making Township resources more accessible to every resident is important to ensure a healthy and engaged community. As your councilwoman, I will focus on improving accessibility in three areas: mobility, inclusion, and information.

Mobility

I am committed to making every space accessible to every resident. As your councilwoman, I will work with the Town Manager to ensure our public spaces are accessible with level pathways and directional signage.

The Township’s accessibility work doesn’t stop with physical spaces, we need to explore and create recreational opportunities for all members of our community who are uniquely able.

Inclusion

Inclusion is about involvement. As your councilwoman, I will work to ensure that all residents of Teaneck have the tools they need to be part of the conversations they want to join.  Our community is made up of many voices and when we work together to bring those voices together our community thrives.  As council members, we need to be accessible to the community by meeting with our stakeholders on an ongoing basis, not just as part of an advisory committee.

Information

There is so much information available regarding what is happening across Teaneck. As your councilwoman, I will apply my decades of communications expertise to help residents of Teaneck access the information they need to live, work and play across Town.  We need to take advantage of modern digital tools and community spaces to keep our community connected and informed.
